I installed owncloud through the plugins and mounted my folder under the jails menus and set the destination to be in /media. Also, there is no log in the recycle bin who deleted that file or folder. I am new to freenas but I was able to get cifs shares going to my computers which work great. The user who deleted cannot himself/herself revert such action as he/she does not see the recycle bin (trash) of the owner. put in your admin credentials and now its setup. then click the link to your owncloud in the left panel of the freenas webui under plugins.
